Divisions

College Divisions (present college age players or older)

For 2016, we will split this division into 3.  This is per the request of many teams in order to make sure games are competitive, as historically, the divide between teams has been big. The goal is to make all games intense and competitive.

**if you are unsure, please select division (B) when you register and Kelly and Alex will place you in the proper spot.

College Divisions (A) (B) (C)

(A) SUPER SERIES: This division will include a min of 4 teams to a max of 6 teams. This division will be based on quality (some teams that enter the college division are at the Olympic level. It is our goal to increase the competitive level for these teams, we do not want blow-out games).  If there are other teams that fit this level of play, we will allow them into this division at the discretion of Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski.  Our preference is to keep this division small and the most elite.

(B) ELITE 1/3: This division will include teams that are elite college teams at the D1/D3/CIS level. We expect the majority of the teams to fit into this category.

(C) ELITE 3/CLUB: This division will include D3 and Club teams. Many of these teams requested a division for them in order to increase competition levels for them in the event.

Team entry rules are as follows:

• 98 birth and older (NCAA D1 players, NCAA D3 players, CIS Canadian University Players)
• 99 birth who are committed to an NCAA or CIS University, but, this must be approved by tournament director Kelly Katorji or Alex Jaworski
• We will allow graduated NCAA or CIS players
• Girls of any age who were or presently are on a roster for  Team Canada Team USA/Other country Under 18 team
• We will also allow 3 wildcard players, but these wildcards cannot be younger than a 99 birth, and must be approved by Kelly Katorji or Alex Jaworski. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Team Entry Cost: $1880

Individual Entry Cost: $140

There will be absolutely NO exceptions to any of these rules as college girls have requested to not allow minor hockey girls into the event excluding the exceptions above.

 

Futures Divisions Elite Red and Elite Blue

Future college prospect players – there will be a few minor exceptions in these divisions, Kelly/Alex will determine these on a team-by-team basis and any of the decisions are final and based on subjective opinions. No exceptions to the adjustments will be considered.

 

The Future's RED Elite Division

The event rules are as follows:

·         98/99/00/birth girls (will allow 97’s , contact Kelly or Alex for approval) – NO NCAA or CIS players allowed (Any 01’s must be approved)

·         You may have an exclusive 98, 99, 00 birth team or a combination of these birth years

·         A complete 01 birth team will ONLY be given consideration only upon review of the talent level of the roster, 01 teams should be playing in the 01 division and that is where we will be planning on placing them as it is the age appropriate division (Playing “up” is not “better”)

·         Girls committed to a college may play in this division

·         We want to limit the number of 97’s per team  (we will set that limit at 4). If you have more please get permission from Alex and Kelly.

·         Any exceptions must be approved by Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski

Individual Entry Cost: $170

 

The Future's BLUE Elite Division

 

** Please note, the Blue division is also a college “scouted” division. This is just our way of making sure match ups are competitive. We will not sacrifice your team by placing them in an unfriendly scouting location.

This division is for teams that are not quite sure what level they are, from a talent stand point. Kelly and Alex will review your roster along with you to make sure the level is appropriate.

·         Many players in this division will be good players that scouts will evaluate

·         Birth years may include 97 through 01, (with limits on the younger end of the age groups)

·         We want to keep divisions age appropriate, so please limit the younger birth years

·         All rosters will be reviewed, the goal is competitive match ups

Team Entry Cost: $1835

Individual Entry Cost: $170

 

The 01 Division AAA

Will include teams with some 01 and 02 birth years.

The team entry rules are as follows:

·         2001 birth year girls

·         You may have up to six 2002 birth year girls on your roster

·         We will allow 2000 births, but please try to limit 2000s on your roster

·         A team with a full roster of 2000s may play here upon review

·         A 2002 birth team MAY be considered, but at Kelly/Alex’s discretion, 02 teams should be in the 02 division so this will be a rare occurrence. Please note it is not better to play “up”

·         All exceptions must be approved by Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski

The 02 Division AAA

Will include teams with some 02 and 03 birth players.

The event rules are as follows:

·         2002 birth year girls

·         you may have up to four 2003 birth year girls on your roster (very few will be allowed if requested)

All exceptions must be approved by Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski.

Team Entry Cost: $1795

Individual Entry Cost: $170

 

The 03 Division AAA

Will include teams with some 03 and 04 birth players.

The team entry rules are as follows:

·         2003 birth year girls

·         you may have up to four, 2004 birth year girls on your roster (very few will be allowed if requested)

·         All exceptions must be approved by Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski

Team Entry Cost: $1795

Individual Entry Cost: $170

 

The 04 Division AAA

Will include teams with some 03 and 04 birth players.

The team entry rules are as follows:

·         2004 birth year girls

·         You may have up to four 2005 birth year girls on your roster (very few will be allowed if requested)

·         All exceptions must be approved by Kelly Katorji and Alex Jaworski

·         Rules are similar to the rules found in the 03 division
